Mutlicolor imaging of patient PDAC tumor samples reveals subtype-specific markers for biomarker discovery.

1. Spatial Phenotyping: The state-of-the-art Akoya instruments allow for accurate quantitative assessment of multiple immune phenotypes without compromising the tissue context and spatial distribution in the tumour microenvironment (TME).

2. Multi-spectral Imaging (MSI): Our Akoya PhenoImager specializes in MSI, which enables the simultaneous capture of multiple wavelengths of light. This is invaluable for studying multiple markers in complex biological samples such as tissue slices.

3. Multiplexed Analysis: We can analyze various characteristics of samples simultaneously, enhancing the efficiency of our research by staining and analysing up to six different markers with the PhenoImager and by ultrahigh-plex staining capacity (100+ protein and RNA markers) with the PhenoCycler mapping up to 1 million cells in 10 min.

4. High-Resolution Slide-Scanning: Our instruments can capture high-resolution images, revealing intricate details at the cellular and subcellular levels while being capable of whole slide scanning.

Our facility members can provide guidance and support for image analysis, help design experiments and interpret data. We encourage collaborative projects to further expand the borders of cancer research.
