Flow Cytometry (FC)

Our Flow Cytometry facility is a hub for cutting-edge cell analysis and sorting, equipped with a state-of-the-art FACS Sorter (Sony SH800S) and FACS Spectral Analyzer (Sony SA3800). These advanced tools offer a wide range of applications making them valuable resources for our cancer research.

1. Cell Sorting and Analysis: We can separate specific cell types and analyze their characteristics with high-throughput and precision. This is useful for a variety of studies, from understanding immune cell diversity to isolating clonal cell lines and rare cell populations.

2. Cell Health and Growth: We reliably assess cell viability and proliferation rates. This is vital for cancer research, drug development, and monitoring cellular responses to treatments.

3. Multi-Parameter Analysis: We can examine complex cellular phenomena such as immune responses and immune-related disorders and perform complex multi-color analysis by measuring multiple parameters simultaneously.

4. DNA Analysis: Our instruments aid in understanding the cell cycle, genomic stability, and DNA-related questions.

Our facility members can provide training and support to help researchers operate the equipment, design experiments, analyze data, and troubleshoot issues. Feel free to contact us in case you want to collaborate from various fields in order to foster innovation and knowledge sharing across our institution.
